Awards Configurable Features
In this section, you will learn about using Labels, Custom Fields and File Types in the context of an Awards Event.
Labels
Labels are a way to group, categorise, or tag, items in your event. You can apply labels to all your event data, including Submissions (or entries, in an awards context).
To get you thinking about how labels can be utilised for Award Submissions, here are some examples of how out clients have used Labels previously:
- Labelling who will be presenting the award on the winning submission
- Identifying who will be attending the awards ceremony
- Identifying potential sales leads
- Labelling which submissions have been shortlisted/have won
- Tagging which shortlisted submissions have been announced in the marketing campaign

Custom Fields
In the context of Awards Submission Flows, Custom Fields are not as required as you do not need to map the data that has been collected in the Submission Flow to the Agenda Planning portion of Lineup Ninja.
Having said this, if you want to publish your Submissions (or Entries) to onward integrations, you will need to consider using Custom Fields in your Form Designer. If this is something you want to do, we recommend speaking to one of the team.

File Types
Files Types help you group and identify files that your team or your submitters have uploaded to your event.
There are two different kinds of File Types:
- Image - You will be asked to name the image type, select how it is cropped and the format of the image
- File - You will be asked to name the file type
In the context of awards, you may want to ask Submitters (Entrants) to upload supporting documents to the award entry.
